Southern Style Chili is a staple dish in the South during the colder months of the year. It is a dish that is made with beef, pinto beans, kidney beans, bell peppers, tomatoes, mushrooms, onions and a blend of spices that make a very hearty meal. Unlike a Texas Chili, a Southern Style Chili typically has beans in it. Anytime you make a chili you can do many things to make it your own. If you like it more spicy, add some more Cayenne or Crushed Red Pepper Flakes. If you are looking for something a little sweeter, add in some brown sugar. The end result is a rich and flavorful dish that is sure to warm you up on a cold day. Whether you're a chili aficionado or a newcomer to the dish, Southern Style Chili is a must-try for anyone looking for a hearty and satisfying meal.
