Smoked turkey breast on a pellet smoker is an easy and flavorful way to prepare a holiday meal. This method delivers juicy meat with a mild smoky flavor and a sticky BBQ glaze that finishes beautifully. Whether you’re new to smoking or a seasoned pitmaster, this step-by-step recipe will help you turn out a perfectly cooked turkey breast every time.

1 ea – Honeysuckle Frozen Young Turkey Breast (basted)

BBQ Rubs

Killer Hogs – The BBQ Rub

BBQ Sauce

1/8 cup – Blues Hog Raspberry Chipotle BBQ Sauce

1/4 cup – Blues Hog Original BBQ Sauce

1/3 cup – Maple Syrup
Directions
Preheat your Recteq pellet smoker to 250°F.
Remove and separate the turkey ribs and backbone from the turkey breast.
Season the back side of the turkey breast evenly with Killer Hogs – The BBQ Rub.
Flip and season the front side of the turkey breast with the same rub.
Place the turkey breast on the smoker and cook until it reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
In a bowl, mix:
1/8 cup Blues Hog Raspberry Chipotle BBQ Sauce
1/4 cup Blues Hog Original BBQ Sauce
1/3 cup Maple Syrup
Brush the turkey breast generously with the BBQ sauce mixture.
Return the turkey breast to the smoker and allow the sauce to set for about 10 minutes, or until it becomes tacky.
Remove from the smoker and let rest for 10–15 minutes.
Slice and serve.
