Are you interested in a fast, simple chicken recipe that will make everyone in you family jealous? If so, this is the recipe that will do that. We are smoking some Chicken Legs. And the best part about this is that almost everyone will be happy to eat chicken. You know that one person that always says no to everything, but Chicken. We no longer do you have to worry about that person.
We are going to be showing you how to trim the chicken legs to ensure that every bit is amazing. So, here is what you do. We are going to go to our favorite grocery store and select a natural pack of Chicken legs. I like Springer Mountain Farms chicken because I know they are a good product and are also all natural.
A couple of points that you will need to make note of:
This recipe is based upon the smoker temperature set at 300°
You will want to use a butter bath or chicken broth bath to ensure the skin is bit through
About 1-hour into the cook, you should have an internal temperature of ~180° or when you notice the first knuckle starting to pop
Once the sauce is set to where you can touch it and it leave an impression on the sauce. That is when you remove the legs from the smoker
